A cancelled date and a lift home
According to Candy AI, the Hartleys’ babysitter has her plans for the evening cancelled, and the husband offers her a lift. During the drive she makes his courtesy into something he struggles to respond to, with his wedding band right there on the steering wheel. She is an adult, as is everyone in the series.
Searches we measured for the title rose from 79 in the week of 13 October to 201 in the week of 20 October, many of them adding “candy shorts” or “candy ai”.
The opener in two settings
At 1:08, episode 1 splits into two parts. The first is in a living room, where she waits wearing a satin slip dress; the second is the late drive home, with her beside him in the car. That dress is the most revealing thing in it, and there is no nudity. What happens after that minute, we haven’t seen.
